Biography
Rijalda Ferhatović (1996) is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the space between inner landscapes and the external world. Her practice bridges the unconscious and the conscious, shaping canvases where colors, lines, and textures become carriers of emotions, memories, and inner dialogues.
Born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rijalda discovered painting as her language – a language of silence, yet also of intensity. Through her series such as Energetic Orbits, Silence, Messages Within and Emotional Colors she builds a bridge between abstract expression and intimate experience, creating works that radiate both strength and fragility.
Her paintings emerge in moments when intuition takes the lead. They are not pre-planned, but revealed – as traces of unconscious pathways, of chaos turning into harmony, and of light rising from darkness.
Rijalda’s artistic signature is marked by the charisma of color and the energetic intensity of her strokes. Each work is an invitation to an introspective journey, as well as an encounter with universal questions – of belonging, existence, and transformation.
Today, through her work, Rijalda seeks to convey the message that art is not merely an aesthetic experience, but a living encounter that initiates dialogue between the inner and outer worlds.
